I greet this Spring Equinox with inspiration, excitement, and a prayer of gratitude to my Creator, for protecting me through a season of winter and bringing me to a season of warmth once again. As the sun rises and light returns for a longer time on my side of the world, I pray that my patience, faith, love and gratitude grow in this season.
With eagerness, I welcome the return of longer days and I'm excited to see the new ways that Mother Earth has and continues to bloom throughout this season. This is a wonderful time to listen to yourself and learn what you want to be a part of. It's also a great time to get rid of anything that you no longer use. Clean out your closets and drawers. Get rid of old handbags and shoes. As always, I suggest that you donate items that no longer serve you. When we hold onto things that we no longer need or that doesn't serve us, we are eliminating space that can be used for other things. As you free up space in your environment you can refocus your attention on how you desire your personal space to be. Worldwide, the spring equinox has represented a time of renewal, fertility, and rebirth and not to mention the start of the planting season. Now, I'm not one for planting seeds, but I sure do enjoy looking at the beauty that has bloomed around me. Not to mention for my fellow friends, studies show that spending time outside or even caring for a small houseplant is a great way to improve your mental health and reduce stress. If you don't have a green thumb, that's okay, all you need is sunlight and water, give it a try. This Equinox reminds us that light and dark are necessary for our own lives. It's the time to shed the old and embrace new goals, desires, and give us new and fresh perspectives. Use this time also to your advantage and make some space for reflection. In detail learn what you want so you know what to ask for. I pray that this new season for you is filled with promises of hope, inspiration, renewed energy, joy, personal focus and growth, and while you're embracing it, I encourage you to ask yourself the following: What are your goals? What do you desire? What is in your way? What actions can you take to achieve your goals? However you spend these days, seek balance within yourself and find peace and beauty with the world around you.
